A Broad Array of Laser Vision Correction Options Despite a considerable amount of press over the past decade, many people are still unsure about the specifics of a LASIK procedure. About NNJEI's Cataract Surgery Procedures During cataract replacement, the lens is removed and replaced with an artificial one called an intraocular lens or IOL.
